Season three of Warzone is now available. Verdansk and the Cold War have collided plunging players into a chaotic new world of 1984. Season three brings a new look for Call of Duty’s free-to-play Battle Royale experience. Call of Duty Publisher Activision has claimed this update is the franchise’s “most ambitious free content offering” to date.
Black Ops Cold War multiplayer will see two new 12 player maps called Yamantau and Diesel. Along with that comes an updated version of Standoff from Black Ops 2 to follow later in the season. The update also adds four new operators – including everyone’s favorite COD character, Captain Price – as well as a handful of additional weapons. Fans of the game’s Outbreak mode can look forward to a new region and more vehicles.
This season brings a patch of about 25GB.
