Today, YouTube officially launched a new homepage design that adds more features to help you find the next video to watch. The updated design is said to begin rolling out today across all desktops and YouTube apps on Android and iOS tablets. Here’s what you can expect to see:
The new look aims to showcase longer video titles, channel icons and larger thumbnails to show you more at a glance. You’ll notice higher resolution video previews as well. There is still rows of videos for categories that might interest you, but you’ll notice that they removed some content shelves.
You can easily add videos from the homepage to your queue, as well as while watching a video uninterrupted.
Don’t want to see a preview of videos from a specific channel? You can easily block future previews from a specific channel by selecting the icon next to the video title like shown below.
