Ubisoft Says ‘Absolutely Not’ for a US Release for ‘We Dare’

I’m still surprised that the game isn’t being called Wii Dare. I mean, its just ripe for the pun. But perhaps Nintendo has a monopoly on Wii pun titles…

In case you didn’t hear earlier, Ubisoft is making an adult party game for the Wii currently only coming out in Europe. A game that has you taking that Wiimote that you have had your greasy hands all over for the last few years and are having you use it as phallic-shaped “apple” to slap in a woman’s face. Apparently, this is the only place where the game will be coming out.

Ubisoft is really embarrassed about this game, it seems. They’ve region locked their version of the ad on the internet and they’ve stated that the game will “absolutely not” be coming Stateside. Well that’s a shame. I was really hoping to use a person’s butt as a controller for playing a NiGHTS into Dreams clone.
