    Here is a list of all video game recording devices & programs that work for various platforms, including but not limited to: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

    This is not a complete list of game recording devices as there is occasionally a new product available on the market.     There's the roxio which I use and the roxio HD. Also just for PC there's the microsoft expression encoder which I use.

    For recording consoles I'll have to vouch for Elgato. I cannot fault the quality and the software that you use to record is so easy to use.
    It even creates back up clips just in case the software crashes. If you have the money, look into getting one of them bad boys.

    I use Bandicam for PC, but I highly do not reccomend it

    I use bandicam for recording PC, and I use HDPVR2 for anything else. The only thing I would mention is the PVR can have some serious quirks to it where it doesn't always run properly.

    Yeah buying an elgato is worth it!! Mine hasn't disappointed me for a year and a half now!

    I personally use Bandicam and Mirillis Action!. Both have the Intel Quick Sync which I find very good for PC gaming. I use them both depending on the game sometimes one performs better and the other way around.
