Sony’s NGP May Have Leaked An Official Name

This seems to always happen around E3 time, this is rumour but there is supposedly a very real source behind this news. Since the source is not mentioned though take this with a grain of salt.

Sony’s NGP is supposedly going to be named the PS Vita, vita of course means ‘life’ in Latin. This is according to the fine people over at GamesPundit.com. Again this is rumour, but there does seem to be at least some sort of support to this story. If this is true, I question the decision on this name. Vita is a very appropriate name in theory, but it will be interesting to see how they market a product with such a name. Let’s hope Sony is crossing their fingers after the performance of the last PSP, they need all the luck they can get.
