Metroid Prime developers working on the new Donkey Kong?

There hasn’t been a decent non-bongo Donkey Game game in awhile, but rumor has it that the same people who helped Samus get her groove have now been tasked with reviving the character in his next game. Retro Studios, developers behind the Metroid Prime series, have been reported to be in development of their next title over the past year with plans to announce said title this year. Perfect timing for an unveiling at Nintendo’s press conference on Tuesday. Perfect timing with IGN’s sources that say Retro has been tasked with bringing Donkey back.
