Grand Theft Auto V: Hollywood?

In the weirdest and most oddly entertaining way I’ve ever seen a rumor dropped, VG247 reports that the next Grand Theft Auto game is to be set in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The game will allegedly be announced at an upcoming Rockstar Games event for Max Payne 3.  The report also lines up with Eurogamer‘s stating that Rockstar is “definitely researching the Hollywood area.”

If true, Hollywood itself is a relatively small area. It all seems to point to players revisiting GTA: San Andrea’s LA inspired Los Santos, much like how GTA:IV took us back to Liberty City from the third game.
