It’s been a while since we heard about Mega Man Legends 3 for the 3DS. Well, that’s changing with a new update on the blog of the game’s director, Masakazu Eguchi. In the blog we get a bunch of screenshots of the game in various stages of development.

While the first set is the latest batch of screens, this next set is a demo made by some of the staff using Mega man character data from another game to to test background scrolling. The different version of the character was being used because the character wasn’t finished yet; same with this version of Teomo City.
This next set was made to test out wider shots of the town. They also included a demo of some ruins from the game. They were also going to create the entire Klickelan Island, but decided to concentrate on Teomo City since the island would be too big to work with at this stage.
Finally, these are some more shots of Teomo City ahead of the game’s announcement. Roll can barely be seen in this first shot with the hospital.
