Atlus RPG Catherine Promises Sexiness And Ram Men
Recently leaked in the new Famitsu, Atlus’ Persona 3/4 team is currently hard at work at a new PS3 RPG entitled Catherine. If you love some Japanese craziness and J-rap, then you’re probably already sold on the game based on the trailer.

Say hello to Vincent, Catherine‘s main character who just so happens to look an awful lot like Cowboy Bebop‘s Spike Spiegel. Oh, and wouldn’t you know it, he’s voiced by Spike’s Japanese VA. Hmm.. I wonder who will voice him in the English version. Anyway, Vincent is a 32-year old bachelor ready to give up on love until he meets the sexy 22-year old Catherine.
For some reason, this makes Vincent starts having nightmares about wandering around in his boxers with ram’s horns trying to climb an endless staircase to wake up.
Otherwise, he’ll be slaughtered like the other freakish tie-wearing ram men in the dream.
These dreams, as it [obviously] turns out, are connected to reality(if you die in the dream, you die for real!) as news broadcasts start reporting about someone else dying in his sleep. Sadly, I have no picture of this, so this other picture will have to suffice.
So that’s about it in terms of story thus far, and Famitsu didn’t have any info on the game mechanics other than the fact that the director/producer Katsura Hashino says that he and the team “wanted to try something different” for this new game. Expect more news on it when it hits Japan this Winter, and hope it gets released in the US (which it probably will).
